Favorite TeacherTube Video
http://www.teachertube.com/members/viewVideo.php?video_id=3071&title=Determining_the_y_intercept_of_a_Line_From_a_Graph
This is the video that I watched. The video shows how to find the y-intercept of a graph. I think that it is a fairly simple concept, but it is still something good for all students to have and know. I also liked it because it shows how easy it is to make videos and post them to a website for others to see and use.

Postcast Subscription
The podcast I observed is from the discovery channel. The episode is a little dated since it is from March 18, 2009, entitled "This week in space March 18, 2009. In the podcast the person conducting the video is discussing the recent launch of a new satellite. In the video he takes about all the different equipment that is on the satellite. Also, he takes about recent pictures that were taken of the far side of the moon. I enjoyed the podcast on the whole the only problem that I have with it is that extra images were brought in by him holding up a piece of paper with a picture on it. However, the video was still very interesting and informative.
The implication for using a podcast in the class room are amazing a person could easily create a short video or sound bit about a classroom project or up coming topic in the classroom, or a teacher about post a video that will summarize a chapter lesson.
